What is a Consignor?

A consignor is YOU! If you have 20 items or $50 worth of merchandise, then you qualify to be a consignor.

Why Should I Be A Consignor?

As a consignor, you make 65% on your items sold and you set the price on each item. Volunteer at the sale and make 70% on your items sold. (see volunteer page) (see our "NEW" Consignor Incentive program below for details on how to earn 75% profit on your sold items)
It only takes $10 to be a consignor! This will be automatically deducted from your check.
We do all the advertising, setting-up, and getting shoppers in the door.
You get to shop early at the consignor pre-sale BEFORE we open to the public.
Your unsold items will be sorted for you and you choose to either pick them up, or have us donate them to Synergy Services; our charity we are partnering with.

How Do I Become A Consignor?

Click here to sign-up now. You will be assigned a consignor number that will become your ID during this sale and all future sales. An email confirmation will be sent to you immediately after signing-up.

If you are on our mailing list or have consigned with us before, you have already been assigned a consignor number. Click here to find your number and confirm your participation for our upcoming sale.

What Items Are Accepted:

The list is endless, however, here is a list of some items to help get you started.

Fall/Winter baby and children's clothing/accessories
(girls sizes newborn to 14, boy sizes newborn to 16)
Fall/Winter maternity clothing (current fashion)
Dance attire, Christmas attire, Halloween Costumes
Mommy Mart items
Toys, books, games, puzzles, dolls, videos, DVDs
Fisher Price Items, Barbies, play kitchens, Legos/blocks, Infant toys, toy cars,etc.
Bikes, ride-on toys, play gyms, slides, cars(Little Tikes items sell very well)
Strollers, cribs, swings, boppy pillows, high chairs, playpens, car seats(less than 5 years old and not recalled. (Please click here to check on recalled items with the Consumer Product Safety Commission)
Nursery items such as monitors, mobiles, diaper bags, bedding and blankets
Children's and nursery furniture/decor

Items We Cannot Accept:

Out of season clothing(no spring/summer items please)
Carseats manufactured more than five years ago
Carseats that have been involved in a car accident
Handmade clothing does not sell well
Teen clothing (sorry we will no longer be accepting these)
Misses or adult clothing
Out of date items or items with stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, etc
Non character related Stuffed Animals ex. (dogs, bunnies, etc.)
Cribs, strollers, equipment that has been recalled
Toys with batteries that don't work

Getting Started:

After you register, you are ready to get started. Please click on the individual items for detailed information on how to prepare your clothes, furniture, mommy mart items, loose items, maternity, shoes, toys/equipment. Once you have learned how to prepare these items, click here to learn how to tag your items. Here's a tip regarding your item preparation: pay close attention to item tagging requirements and what is/is not acceptable to bring. Next, start preparing your items! Remember, it's never too early to get them ready!!

Consignor Referral Program:

Interested in making more $$$ at the sale? Help us spread the word about JBF to your friends, word of mouth is our best form of advertisement.

Refer 1 Friend - You can get your $10.00 consignor fee waived by referring a new consignor. The referred consignor must reference your name on their consignor waiver form at drop-off and bring 20 items or $50 worth of merchandise.

Refer 3 Friends, Earn 75% - You can earn 75% on your consigned items by recruiting 3 new people to consign plus have your consignor fee waived. The referred consignor must reference your name on their consignor waiver form at drop-off and bring 20 items or $50 worth of merchandise.

Fill out our "refer a friend" automated email, you supply the email address(s) then it does the rest for you, it sends out an email to your friend(s) with the website information. We appreciate your referrals!

Consignor Registration Deadline:

The deadline to sign-up to be a consignor is Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 at 11:59pm. We apologize but we are unable to accept registrations after this date!
